Kids are allergic to dairy, nuts, gluten and more.
Here is a story on Gluten. It may help you understand why gluten plays a huge role in allergies and undiagnosed medical conditions.
What exactly is gluten?
A simple definition: It’s the glue that gunks up your gut, intestines,
lymphatic system, sinus and joints. All this creates inflammation,
which causes pain along with many of the health-related issues we are
facing today including fibromyalgia, arthritis, asthma, ADD,
autoimmune dysfunction, irritable bowel, all manner of gut issues,
migraines and cancer.
It makes you fat.
For those of you who would like the technical definition: Gluten (from
the Latin word glue) is a protein composite that appears in foods
processed from wheat and others including barley and rye. It gives
elasticity to dough, helping it to rise and to keep its shape, and often
giving the final product a chewy texture. Gluten is the composite of a
prolamine and gluteline, conjoined with starch, in the endosperm of
various grass-related grains. Worldwide, gluten is a source of protein,
both in foods prepared directly from sources containing it, and as an
additive to foods lacking sufficient protein.
The development of gluten affects the texture of baked goods.
Gluten's attainable elasticity is proportional to its content of glutenins
with low molecular weights. More development leads to chewier
products like pizza and bagels, while less development yields tender
baked goods. Kneading promotes the formation of gluten strands and
cross-links, so a baked product is chewier in proportion to how much
the dough is worked. Increased wetness of the dough also enhances
gluten development.
Gluten is the glue that is used to preserve food for a longer shelf
life. When your great, great grandmother baked homemade bread
100 years ago, it fell apart after a day. Now a day’s bread can sit
on our counter for weeks and in the refrigerator for at least a month.
So, where do you find the most gluten? Read the ingredients on your
packaged food! This sneaky sticky stuff is in all of our favorite foods—
cookies, cakes, pastas, pretzels, crackers, pizza and most bread or
baked goods.
Also, it is typically the first ingredient in imitation meat products. So
buyer beware! The imitation meat professing to be healthy is not only
a health hindrance, but also very fattening.
There are some loopholes when labeling foods. "Gluten-free" standards
do not apply to all foods. In the case of foods such as ice cream,
ketchup, salad dressing, gluten may be listed as a stabilizing agent.
The health-related consequences from this inflammatory culprit are
running rampant. And they don’t just stop with us.
3 Facts to Get Gluten-Free:
1.You need a certain amount of carbohydrates for brain development.
These can be attained by eating greens and high quality animal
protein/fat. You could live the rest of your life and never eat another
packaged carbohydrate containing wheat and gluten. You would not miss
it and you’d be a lot healthier.
2.Carbohydrates are more addicting than cocaine or heroine. The rush
you get from a sticky, gooey cinnamon bun can create such a high, you
might do whatever it takes to get another one in a few hours. Carbs
can have such catastrophic side effects including permanently slowing
your metabolism, numbing your senses and preventing healthy brain
development.
3.Every popular diet today is all about eliminating killer carbs and
adding the fat back. You need good quality fats such as avocados and
olive oil for your body and brain to work most efficiently. You will
never need pasta or cereal (packaged carbohydrates).
It has been written that over 75% of Americans are allergic to
wheat... same as gluten.
We all are in some way.

A Child I know With Cancer
She has had 1/2 her chemotherapy treatments done and a major surgery removing a part of her femur bone out of one leg and using a cadaver bone and a part of her fibula bone of her other leg to put in it's place. She has both legs healing from major surgery as she continues in her chemo treatments.
I dedicated a page in my www.childrendonate2.org website to help support children with cancer and their families. She and her sister were a big part of why this website was made. Do to her privacy I did not dedicate a page to her name, but I hope the new page will help others who have children suffering from cancer and fighting for their lives.
I say prayers everyday for her and want to give her the biggest hug EVER!!!
On Valentines day 2007 she found some money and we went online together with her sister to donate some of the money to a charity. We decided to donate it to a charity in Long Beach that helps abused kids that I knew about. Then we came up with an idea to make a website that parents and their kids can go to together and pick a charity to donate to together in family time.
Her and her older sister helped me make a list animals to put on the website. I did the research and found the pictures and charities and foundations to list on the site. This made childrendonate2.org
At one time we had a page dedicated to their friend who has spinal muscular atrophy. It was fun. It got written up in the newspaper. The girls got interviewed with their friend and had their pictures in the paper. It was very cool.
Her and her sister helped me and their father with a fundraiser to help one of my clients who has a brain injury from a car accident raise over $13,000 for him to help with his medical bills last year last year. They did a great job and worked hard and my client was very thankful to them.
I have added pages do help specific illnesses due to people I meet and their kids. I never thought I would be making a page to help childhood cancer families because one of the 2 girls who helped inspire this website has cancer.
I ask for prayers and blessings sent her way
Please use this new page to help you find education on childhood cancers for someone you may know.

What is Bullying?
To those being bullied. Bullying happens to adults, teens and kids. It is difficult at any age. It does not make you weak or insecure or a bad person if someone is bullying you and you are having a hard time. Tell someone. I know people don't always listen and that makes it harder.
When you are being bullied sometimes odd things happen and when we tell others, they say we are reading into it too much or too sensitive etc. That is crap. Keep talking until you find someone who listens and validates your truth.
People spreading rumors about you. Friends and strangers treating you poorly due to the rumors. Being ignored and made fun of. Internet harrassment, like hacking emails, writing blogs or facebook/twitter comments about someone, phone texts etc are all a part of bullying. It is harrassment. It is wrong.
Many people have the strength and courage to reach out but then they have to deal with others judging them and not listening. Being bullied then having to deal with how people react to you is difficult. It is like a double whammy and you just feel lost and confused.
Please believe in yourself. Please keep reaching out until someone really HEARS you.
If you have paper evidence to back it up or can print up stuff on the computer you are experiencing it may be more of a chance someone will listen to you.
To those that are being told by a friend, child or student that they are being bullied
Listen to them. Most people don't walk around making up these stories for attention, especially if they are ignored and not helped. Would'nt you rather reach out and help someone at risk of they may be lying then to ignore someone in distress and something bad happens to them or they take their life. It is a bigger chance they are telling the truth.
Being bullied at any age, can hurt severely. Not getting help or respect in your situation hurts and confuses someone to an extreme. Don't ignore when people reach out for help.
When you are bullied you feel alone. The holidays are here now and for some people they can feel more alone. Reach out! Care!
There are many websites on this page to help with this subject. Find one that can help you. Find one that can help someone you know.
